Daniel Jaugey was born at Lyon, France in 1929.
Training: Self taught, Daniel made many study trips in Italy, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Portugal and Morocco,
Egypt and Japan where he exhibited at the same time.
Daniel has earn his living with his paintings since 1965. He held 60 solo exhibitions in France major towns and
also in many countries.
In 1966 he exhibited in Montreal at the Waddington Gallery. Montreal. He also had showings at Vendome Art
Gallery, Paris in 1985, 1987, 1989. Galerie Richard Riverin in Laval 1987, in L'Arabesque Art Gallery Cairo,
Egypt 1987, Salle des Congres, Ajaccio, Corsica, 1987. Carrefour International des Arts in Palm Beach 1997,
International Art Center, Naples in 2003.
He participated to 20 shows in France, Art expo, Toronto, Montreal, Singapore, Valencia, Spain..
Honours: Presse Club award in Nice. He was named Honoris causa member of The Academie Europeenne des
Beaux-Arts in Brussel.
